Qvevri 2024 Paarl The taste ranges from pearTasting notes The red wine Qvevri from the Winery Avondale smells intensely of ripe red berries, violet blossoms and a hint of white pepper. The clay amphorae give it a subtle earthy and mineral character, perfectly balancing the fruit. On the palate, it feels lively, fresh and elegant, with a fine natural acidity that carries the fruit aromas. The tannins are soft and give the wine structure without heaviness. The finish is spicy and slightly salty.
